Update: On June 22, the new Aldi was opened. The former Gabe Market will be opened in the new few weeks directly within sight of the new Aldi.
The new Aldi supermarket will be open from 22 June 2022, local media (Diario de Alicante) reported today. Along with Lidl, Consum, Mercadona and several smaller British supermarkets, the new Aldi in Gran Alacant will be one of the larger stores in GA. The new Aldi is located on Avenida Noruega, where the old Gabe market was located. It will be a great destination for all the new homes that will be built in the area in the future.
