During the night from yesterday to today (21/01 – 23:22 h to 22/01 – 0:22 h), an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.6 (micro-earthquake) on the Richter scale occurred in the vicinity between Santa Pola and Gran Alacant and northeast of the island of Tabarca. In the region of Alicante, such seismic activities occur from time to time. Please follow the safety instructions in case of an earthquake.
